A
Journey to Adulthood
Youth ministry at St. Michael’s
is focused on building meaningful relationships among other youth and adults
centered on the love of Christ for the people of God.
We pray that experiencing fun,
fellowship, worship and learning we will recognize that we are each children
of God, loved by God and cared for by God’s church.
Episcopal Youth Community
Rite 13 (6th
& 7th
Grades)
This two year program assists
young people as they take the first steps of passage away from their
families and into their own lives.
Journey 2 Adulthood
This core program blends action
and contemplation in teaching young people faithful living.
Y.A.C
The Young Adults
in the Church program encourages young people to take on adult
responsibilities in all aspects of parish life and the local community.
Youth responsibility is fostered
through the many leadership opportunities at St. Michael's, including
acolyte duties, lay reading, Altar Guild, as well as planning worship
services, Stations of the Cross and Youth Sunday.
Our youth also participate in
many outreach ministries such as CARITAS, the Crop Walk and a monthly
Saturday program for elementary age children.
